JOB SUMMARY

This position is for a P&C (property & casualty) insurance agent/producer and requires the applicant to be P&C licensed.

If you have a life, accident, and health license, we'd be interested in having you market individual and group life, disability, LTC, and benefits like dental/vision, and even Medicare supplement plans.

Candidate must be comfortable with handling both personal and commercial lines, and if not experienced with one or the other, willing to learn.

COMPENSATION

Don’t believe the hype that you’ll see from other job postings promising large salaries right off the bat as that is often just a bait and switch tactic that is unrealistic and misleading.

At InsuranceTrak, we have a compensation plan that will give you a vested interest in building, and maintaining, your book of business as you’ll earn money on renewals so that you can actually retire after years of hard work, and not just leave it all behind to the insurance carrier that hired you just to start over again from scratch.

Producer shall be initially compensated up front while they build their book of business and will eventually be self-sufficient earning a living off their renewal book of business and/or new sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet very reachable quotas
  • Prospect for new clients by cold calling, networking, and other marketing with our support.
  • Build strong networking relationships with Accountants, Attorneys, Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers, Title Agents, Auto Dealer Reps, and more, to increase referrals.
  • Be able to learn how to ethically underwrite a risk, quote the appropriate markets, gather the proper applications and procure signed paperwork to close sales.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Be self-motivated to succeed.
  • Have no fear when prospecting for new business and creating networking relationships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to properly underwrite new business and close new sales.
  • Utilize professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a property & casualty insurance license
  • A minimum of 3 years’ prior sales experience is preferred
